Today was the first meeting of the SES Running Club. Mrs. Allison is the lead coach, and we are thankful to have the Henderson family coaching alongside her. This crew will run a few races this Fall as part of the Marshall County Elementary Running Club.

Getting to read together for a few minutes on the carpet is a really special time in Ms. Candace's classroom. 💚

These kindergartners drew some pretty impressive aliens after reading a fun book with Mrs. Gore this afternoon.

When spaghetti is being served in the cafeteria (and it's the only spaghetti you like to eat), you save your lunch from home for another day.

If you have a 2nd graders, ask for the definition of "depend." It's one of their vocabulary words this week.

When writing those A letters, it's important that our students write them correctly.

Reading is more fun when it's a really BIG book 📕

How do you practice spelling words in kindergarten? Play "Sparkle" with your classmates ✨

These classes have worked to show teamwork, respect and positive behavior all week long. Way to GLOW, Green Devils! 💚 #GreenDevilsGlow

🌟Dojo Students of the Week 🌟
Each Friday, we randomly select a student from each grade who earned 100% positivity on Dojo for the week. 🎉 These students are our first winners of the year. They were recognized this morning and got to pick a small prize. #GreenDevilsGlow

Lots of great things were happening in Mrs. Sarah's Number Corner this morning. See that equation on the board?? These 2nd graders can calculate that answer using mental strategies that will take them through life! Mrs. Barrett (3rd grade teacher) stopped in for a visit and found herself blown away at their math thinking.

Back 2 School Bash 🤸

Two amazing ladies that serve food with a smile to our students every day 💚

These ladies are phenomenal educators!

Learning how /th/ helps make the word "the" in kindergarten 🔤

We practiced our safety drills on Friday, and our students and staff rocked it!
