Our Sharpe Running Club joined the Marshall County Elementary team for their first race of the season. We are so proud of them!
Two years ago, these kindergarten cuties were lined up for their first school pictures. This week, they will take those photos as 2nd graders. Don't forget picture day on Thursday! Do NOT wear green.
We added a new recognition this week - Special Areas Class of the Week. This recognition is chosen by our Special Area teachers and the class will get to choose a special activity in the class where they excelled.

Officer Reynolds didn't want to be the only new sheriff in town, so he brought holsters for Mrs. Blair and Mrs. McClard. They kept them filled with pens, highlighters and plenty of suckers.

Our fifth grade class presented Officer Reynolds with a card this morning to honor him as a first responder on Patriot Day. We hate that Officer Johnny is away from us at DARE training, but thankful to have another special SRO in his place.
This sweet little girl reminds us today of our thankfulness for the men and women who lost their lives for many Americans on 9/11. #PatriotDay

Mrs. Crystal, Family Resource Coordinator, shared a new program with our students today that we believe is a very important opportunity. There are certain things that every child needs to take them into adulthood - from making a bed or a sandwich to knowing important phone numbers and emergency plans.
